This policy explains what Sonder Mens collects when you use our hair consultation, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, email us at sonder@sondermens.com.

What we collect

  • Your name and email address.
  • Your answers to the consultation questionnaire, including your age range, hair and grooming details, and anything you choose to tell us.
  • The photos you upload of your head and face, and any inspiration photo you add.
  • The facial measurements we take from those photos, such as proportions and hairline shape. This is biometric information and is treated as sensitive information.

Why we collect it

We use this information for one purpose: to prepare your personal hair consultation report and preview images, and to send it to you. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who processes your information

To produce your report we use a small number of trusted service providers. Your photos and questionnaire may be processed by:

  • Anthropic, to analyse your details and write your report.
  • Google and Replicate, to generate the preview images of recommended styles.
  • Resend, to send you email.
  • Vercel and Neon, to host the service and store your information securely.

Some of these providers are based outside Australia, including in the United States, so your information may be processed overseas.

How long we keep it

We keep your consultation and report so you can return to it. You can ask us to delete your photos, measurements, answers and report at any time, and we will remove them from our storage and our providers where we are able to.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To make any of these requests, email sonder@sondermens.com and we will action it.

Age

The consultation is for people aged 18 and over. Please do not use it or upload photos if you are under 18.

Consent

Before you submit your photos we ask you to confirm that you are 18 or older and that you agree to this policy. You can withdraw your consent by contacting us and asking us to delete your data.
