Twenty minutes later the chair spins. It's fine. It's always fine. It's the same cut you always end up with, because “just tidy it up” is easier than explaining something you don't have the words for. You pay, you walk out, you fix it with your hand in the car mirror. You'll wear it for the next six weeks.
Here's the thing about that photo. It was never going to work. It was his haircut, built on his face, his hairline, his hair. Nobody ever measured yours.

Can't I just ask ChatGPT or another AI?

You can, and it will guess. An AI chat cannot measure your face from photos, does not know which cuts survive real barbershops, and will not put a name to its answer. Here, technology only does the measuring. The recommendations come from a curated cut library built on 200,000+ haircuts, and a working Sonder barber corrects and approves every single report before you see it.
Can't I just show my barber a photo?

That is how most bad haircuts start. The photo shows another man's haircut, built on his face, his hairline and his hair. Your report gives the barber your measurements, the cut chosen for them, and the exact instructions in barber language. Any good barber can follow it.
What if my hair is thinning or my hairline is moving back?

Then this is built for you. We measure your hairline honestly and recommend cuts that work with it, not against it. No miracle promises, no pretending. The right cut makes thinning hair read thicker; the wrong one advertises it. Knowing which is which is the whole point.
